Illinois Institute of Technology has taken the #1 spot in this year's general architecture ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the large city of Chicago, Illinois Tech is a private not-for-profit college with a moderately-sized student population. Illinois Tech also made our Best Colleges for General Architecture in Illinois list, coming in at #1.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.8%. Approximately 1,752 students take at least one class online at Illinois Tech. 1,354 students are part time.
University of Illinois at Chicago earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. UIC is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Chicago. UIC not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #2 on our Best Colleges for General Architecture in Illinois list.
