2022 Best Value Accounting Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Rocky Mountains Region For Those Making $0-$30k

In 2019-2020, 101,094 accounting students received their degree, making the major the 8th most popular in the country. In 2017-2018, accounting graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $44,557 and had an average of $26,381 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 5,460 accounting graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,268 and $27,204 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 3,036 accounting graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,111 and $23,874 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Accounting Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Rocky Mountains Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking analyzed 35 colleges that offered a degree in accounting. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great accounting programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the accounting program at the school. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
