2022 Best Value Accounting Schools for a Master’s in the Great Lakes Region For Those Getting Aid

With 101,094 degrees handed out in 2019-2020, accounting is the 8th most popular major in the United States. In 2017-2018, accounting graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $44,557 and had an average of $26,381 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 15,309 accounting graduates with average earnings and debt of $43,733 and $24,768 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 2,405 accounting graduates with average earnings and debt of $57,039 and $42,488 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality accounting programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
