In 2019-2020, 57,893 people earned their degree in finance and financial management, making the major the 14th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, finance and financial management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $51,578 and had an average of $26,517 in loans still to pay off.
At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 50 finance and financial management graduates with average earnings and debt of $72,680 and $116,043 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Finance Schools for a Doctorate For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking analyzed 13 colleges that offered a degree in finance and financial management. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent finance and financial management programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
