Hospitality Management is the 61st most popular major in the country with 17,830 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $33,271 and had an average of $21,829 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 1,955 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,317 and $21,565 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,041 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,896 and $23,899 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Hospitality Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southwest Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking looked at 14 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in hospitality management. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality hospitality management programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
