In 2019-2020, 26,616 people earned their degree in human resource management, making the major the 43rd most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,242 and had an average of $34,825 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 3,740 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $44,989 and $33,994 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value HR Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking analyzed 42 colleges that offered a degree in human resource management. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality human resource management programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
