2022 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for Human Resource Management in the Great Lakes Region

Human Resource Management is the 43rd most popular major in the country with 26,616 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,242 and had an average of $34,825 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 4,904 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,183 and $31,157 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 1,325 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $57,039 and $42,488 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value HR Schools for a Master’s in the Great Lakes Region” ranking looked at 40 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in human resource management. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great human resource management programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the human resource management program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
