Human Resource Management is the 43rd most popular major in the country with 26,616 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,242 and had an average of $34,825 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 1,159 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,383 and $30,964 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 678 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $58,606 and $42,101 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value HR Schools for a Master’s in the New England Region” ranking looked at 19 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in human resource management. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent human resource management programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.

The school came in at #3 for the Best Value HR Schools for a Master’s in the New England Region. Southern New Hampshire University is a private not-for-profit institution located in Manchester, New Hampshire. The school has a large population, and it awarded 268 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.
