In 2019-2020, 5,658 people earned their degree in real estate, making the major the 163rd most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, real estate graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $59,476 and had an average of $30,114 in loans still to pay off.
At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 1,084 real estate graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,398 and $43,194 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Real Estate Schools for a Master’s For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking analyzed 30 colleges that offered a degree in real estate. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent real estate programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
