In 2019-2020, 28,174 people earned their degree in information technology, making the major the 37th most popular in the United States.
At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 104 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $72,680 and $116,043 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value IT Schools for a Doctorate For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking looked at 8 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in information technology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality information technology programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
