In 2019-2020, 81,384 computer information systems students received their degree, making the major the 10th most popular in the country. In 2017-2018, computer information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $51,664 and had an average of $26,071 in loans still to pay off.

Across the New England region, there were 4,177 computer information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $55,883 and $25,124 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 31 computer information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $73,889 and $109,372 respectively.
