Computer Programming is the 121st most popular major in the country with 10,756 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, computer programming graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $45,886 and had an average of $26,222 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 713 computer programming graduates with average earnings and debt of $52,300 and $31,437 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 108 computer programming graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,967 and $17,711 respectively.

Rexburg, Idaho is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out associates’s programming degrees to 15 students in 2019-2020.
