Computer Programming is the 121st most popular major in the country with 10,756 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, computer programming graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $45,886 and had an average of $26,222 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 2,168 computer programming graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,240 and $29,521 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 205 computer programming graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,277 and $25,415 respectively.
