Computer Science is the 19th most popular major in the country with 53,722 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, computer science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $66,561 and had an average of $23,565 in loans still to pay off.
Across Ohio, there were 837 computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $61,875 and $25,625 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 588 computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,281 and $26,151 respectively.
