Information Technology is the 46th most popular major in the country with 38,958 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, information technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $39,044 and had an average of $25,781 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 6,910 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value IT Schools for an Associate For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking analyzed 225 colleges that offered a degree in information technology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality information technology programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Out of the 225 schools in the Best Value IT Schools for an Associate For Those Making $0-$30k that were part of this year’s ranking, Chattahoochee Technical College landed the #1 spot on the list. Located in Marietta, Georgia, this medium-sized public school awarded 75 diplomas to qualified associates’s IT students in 2019-2020.

CCBC is located in Baltimore, Maryland and, has a fairly large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 66 associates’s IT degrees to qualified students.
