Information Technology is the 46th most popular major in the country with 38,958 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, information technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $39,044 and had an average of $25,781 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 1,206 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,150 and $17,344 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 218 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $58,606 and $42,101 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value IT Schools for a Master’s in the New England Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking looked at 8 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in information technology. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great information technology programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
