Information Technology is the 46th most popular major in the country with 38,958 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, information technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $39,044 and had an average of $25,781 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 12,308 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,600 and $26,616 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,666 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,277 and $25,415 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent information technology programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
