In 2019-2020, 38,958 people earned their degree in information technology, making the major the 46th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, information technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $39,044 and had an average of $25,781 in loans still to pay off.
Across Ohio, there were 886 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $31,400 and $27,957 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value IT Schools in Ohio For Those Making $75-$110k” ranking, we looked at 25 colleges that offer a degree in information technology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality information technology programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
