Information Technology is the 46th most popular major in the country with 38,958 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, information technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $39,044 and had an average of $25,781 in loans still to pay off.
Across Massachusetts, there were 517 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,350 and $18,288 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value IT Schools in Massachusetts For Those Getting Aid” ranking analyzed 11 colleges that offered a degree in information technology.
