At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 91 education of the deaf graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality education of the deaf programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Out of the 15 schools in the Best Value Deaf Education Schools for a Bachelor’s For Those Getting Aid that were part of this year’s ranking, University of North Carolina at Greensboro landed the #1 spot on the list. This fairly large school is located in Greensboro, North Carolina, and it awarded 25 bachelors’s deaf education degrees in 2019-2020.

University of Tulsa also took the #6 spot in our “Best Education of the Deaf Bachelor’s Degree Schools” ranking. It costs about $20,936 for Bachelor’s Degree Deaf Education students with aid per year to attend University of Tulsa.
The student loan default rate at the school is 2.6%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%. Since the school has a student-to-faculty ratio of 10 to 1, those pursuing a degree will have more opportunities to interact with their professors.
