In 2019-2020, 42,436 people earned their degree in teacher education subject specific, making the major the 23rd most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, teacher education subject specific graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $40,022 and had an average of $26,039 in loans still to pay off.
