2022 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for Engineering-Related Fields in the Great Lakes Region (With Aid)

In 2019-2020, 6,319 people earned their degree in engineering-related fields, making the major the 120th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, engineering-related fields graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $73,026 and had an average of $26,903 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 1,425 engineering-related fields graduates with average earnings and debt of $73,688 and $28,500 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 774 engineering-related fields graduates with average earnings and debt of $57,039 and $42,488 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Engineering-Related Fields Schools for a Master’s in the Great Lakes Region For Those Getting Aid” ranking looked at 21 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in engineering-related fields. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent engineering-related fields programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
