2022 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for Mechanical Engineering Technology (Income $75-$110k) in the Great Lakes Region

At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 93 mechanical engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $57,039 and $42,488 respectively.

The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great mechanical engineering technology programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

Northwestern is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Evanston, Illinois. It awarded 20 masters’s ME tech degrees in 2019-2020.

Northwestern also took the #1 spot in our “Best Mechanical Engineering Technology Master’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” ranking. Average graduate tuition and fees at Northwestern University are $56,567, but some majors have different tuition rates.

Dearborn, Michigan is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s ME tech degrees to 73 students in 2019-2020.

UM Dearborn did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our “Best Mechanical Engineering Technology Master’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list.
