In 2019-2020, 86,730 people earned their degree in engineering technologies, making the major the 19th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, engineering technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,894 and had an average of $21,178 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 8,641 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $49,303 and $23,791 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 2,899 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $32,733 and $16,201 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality engineering technologies programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
