2022 Best Value Doctor’s Degree Colleges for Electrical Engineering (Income $30-$48k)

In 2019-2020, 29,892 people earned their degree in electrical engineering, making the major the 26th most popular in the United States.
At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 2,324 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $72,680 and $116,043 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value EE Schools for a Doctorate For Those Making $30-$48k” ranking, we looked at 144 colleges that offer a degree in electrical engineering. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent electrical engineering programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology is a private not-for-profit institution located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 44 doctorate’s degrees in 2019-2020.

Duke is a fairly large school located in Durham, North Carolina that handed out 40 doctorate’s EE degrees in 2019-2020.
