Out of the 7 schools in the Best Value Engineering Schools for a Doctorate in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $0-$30k that were part of this year’s ranking, Carnegie Mellon University landed the #1 spot on the list. Carnegie Mellon University is a fairly large school located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that handed out 15 doctorate’s engineering degrees in 2019-2020.

This medium-sized school is located in Baltimore, Maryland, and it awarded 10 doctorate’s engineering degrees in 2019-2020.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Morgan State, the school also landed the #6 spot in our “Best General Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at Morgan State are $17,339.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Villanova University. It ranked #3 on our 2022 Best Value Engineering Schools for a Doctorate in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $0-$30k list. Located in Villanova, Pennsylvania, this fairly large private not-for-profit school awarded 16 degrees to qualified doctorate’s engineering students in 2019-2020.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Rowan University. Glassboro, New Jersey is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out doctorate’s engineering degrees to 4 students in 2019-2020.

This large school is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and it awarded 1 doctorate’s engineering degrees in 2019-2020.
Temple did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #7 on our “Best General Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at Temple are $24,236, but some majors have different tuition rates.
With a ranking of #6, Stevens Institute of Technology did quite well on the 2022 Best Value Engineering Schools for a Doctorate in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $0-$30k list. Stevens is located in Hoboken, New Jersey and, has a medium-sized student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 1 doctorate’s engineering degrees to qualified students.
Stevens also made our “Best General Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list, coming in at #4. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at Stevens are $38,876.

Rochester Institute of Technology ranked #7 on this year’s Best Value Engineering Schools for a Doctorate in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $0-$30k list. RIT is a private not-for-profit institution located in Rochester, New York. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 12 doctorate’s degrees in 2019-2020.
RIT did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our “Best General Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at Rochester Institute of Technology are $50,442, but some majors have different tuition rates.
