The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great engineering programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at Fairfield U, the school also landed the #10 spot in our “Best Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” ranking. You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Hartford. The school came in at #2 for the Best Value Engineering Schools for a Master’s in the New England Region. Located in West Hartford, Connecticut, this medium-sized private not-for-profit school awarded 47 diplomas to qualified masters’s engineering students in 2019-2020.
UHart did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #21 on our “Best Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” list. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at University of Hartford are $14,847.
Out of the 23 schools in the Best Value Engineering Schools for a Master’s in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Northeastern University landed the #3 spot on the list. Northeastern University is a private not-for-profit institution located in Boston, Massachusetts. The school has a large population, and it awarded 1,583 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.
Northeastern not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #6 on our “Best Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at Northeastern are $25,558, but you may pay more or less depending on your major.

University of Maine ranked #9 on this year’s Best Value Engineering Schools for a Master’s in the New England Region list. University of Maine is a public institution located in Orono, Maine. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 38 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.
