Allied Health Professions is the 15th most popular major in the country with 81,167 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, allied health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $49,676 and had an average of $30,684 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 10,400 allied health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $44,774 and $22,598 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Allied Health Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Making $30-$48k” ranking looked at 123 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in allied health professions. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great allied health professions programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
