In 2019-2020, 81,167 people earned their degree in allied health professions, making the major the 15th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, allied health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $49,676 and had an average of $30,684 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Plains States region, there were 5,388 allied health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $52,019 and $29,811 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 1,941 allied health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,069 and $19,434 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Allied Health Schools for an Associate in the Plains States Region For Those Making $75-$110k” ranking analyzed 84 colleges that offered a degree in allied health professions. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great allied health professions programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
