In 2019-2020, 81,167 people earned their degree in allied health professions, making the major the 15th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, allied health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $49,676 and had an average of $30,684 in loans still to pay off.
Across Illinois, there were 2,763 allied health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $55,434 and $41,169 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 1,039 allied health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,469 and $14,548 respectively.
