In 2019-2020, 8,718 people earned their degree in health/medical prep programs, making the major the 91st most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, health/medical prep programs graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $33,843 and had an average of $24,525 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 1,991 health/medical prep programs graduates with average earnings and debt of $29,469 and $22,363 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 78 health/medical prep programs graduates with average earnings and debt of $32,508 and $17,812 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Medical Prep Schools for an Associate in the Great Lakes Region For Those Making $75-$110k” ranking analyzed 10 colleges that offered a degree in health/medical prep programs. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent health/medical prep programs programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
