2022 Best Value Health Science Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid

In 2019-2020, 31,648 people earned their degree in health sciences and services, making the major the 42nd most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, health sciences and services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $34,571 and had an average of $24,129 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 3,822 health sciences and services graduates with average earnings and debt of $28,993 and $21,462 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,747 health sciences and services graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,896 and $23,899 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Health Science Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid” ranking, we looked at 21 colleges that offer a degree in health sciences and services. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great health sciences and services programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
