In 2019-2020, 31,648 people earned their degree in health sciences and services, making the major the 42nd most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, health sciences and services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $34,571 and had an average of $24,129 in loans still to pay off.
At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 245 health sciences and services graduates with average earnings and debt of $72,680 and $116,043 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Health Science Schools for a Doctorate For Those Getting Aid” ranking analyzed 11 colleges that offered a degree in health sciences and services. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent health sciences and services programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
