Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences is the 52nd most popular major in the country with 19,436 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $103,354 and had an average of $116,700 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 2,760 pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $102,976 and $115,156 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 417 pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,075 and $25,381 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Pharmacy Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Great Lakes Region For Those Making $30-$48k” ranking, we looked at 12 colleges that offer a degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences program at the school. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

University of Wisconsin - Madison is a large school located in Madison, Wisconsin that handed out 36 bachelors’s pharmacy degrees in 2019-2020.
