2022 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences (Income $48-$75k) in the Southeast Region

In 2019-2020, 19,436 people earned their degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences, making the major the 52nd most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $103,354 and had an average of $116,700 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 4,924 pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $107,663 and $142,180 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 320 pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,950 and $43,286 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Pharmacy Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region For Those Making $48-$75k” ranking looked at 11 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

This large school is located in Gainesville, Florida, and it awarded 175 masters’s pharmacy degrees in 2019-2020.
UF not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at University of Florida are $30,130.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Chapel Hill, North Carolina is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s pharmacy degrees to 9 students in 2019-2020.

Located in Tampa, Florida, this large public school awarded 27 degrees to qualified masters’s pharmacy students in 2019-2020.
USF Tampa did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #7 on our “Best Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at USF Tampa are $21,126, but you may pay more or less depending on your major.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Georgia. The school came in at #4 for the Best Value Pharmacy Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region For Those Making $48-$75k. Athens, Georgia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s pharmacy degrees to 13 students in 2019-2020.
UGA not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #3 on our “Best Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at University of Georgia are $27,476.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Mississippi. It ranked #5 on our 2022 Best Value Pharmacy Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region For Those Making $48-$75k list. Ole Miss is a public institution located in University, Mississippi. The school has a large population, and it awarded 17 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.
In addition to being on our southeast region master’s degree pharmacy students whose families make $48-$75k list, Ole Miss has also earned the #4 rank in our “Best Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking. Average graduate tuition and fees at University of Mississippi are $25,099, but some majors have different tuition rates.

University of Kentucky came in at #6 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Pharmacy Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region For Those Making $48-$75k ranking. UK is located in Lexington, Kentucky and, has a large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 16 masters’s pharmacy degrees to qualified students.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at UK, the school also landed the #5 spot in our “Best Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at University of Kentucky are $33,216.

Virginia Commonwealth University did quite well in the 2022 Best Value Pharmacy Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region For Those Making $48-$75k ranking, coming in at #7. VCU is a large school located in Richmond, Virginia that handed out 4 masters’s pharmacy degrees in 2019-2020.
VCU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #6 on our “Best Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at Virginia Commonwealth University are $29,228, but you may pay more or less depending on your major.

Auburn University ranked #8 on this year’s Best Value Pharmacy Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region For Those Making $48-$75k list. Auburn, Alabama is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s pharmacy degrees to 2 students in 2019-2020.

Lipscomb University ranked #9 on this year’s Best Value Pharmacy Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region For Those Making $48-$75k list. Lipscomb University is a small private not-for-profit school situated in Nashville, Tennessee. It awarded 10 masters’s pharmacy degrees in 2019-2020.

Campbell is located in Buies Creek, North Carolina and, has a medium-sized student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 34 masters’s pharmacy degrees to qualified students.

NUS Florida is a private not-for-profit institution located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The school has a large population, and it awarded 8 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.
NUS Florida did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #9 on our “Best Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at NUS Florida are $22,242, but some majors have different tuition rates.
