Health Professions is one of the most popular majors in the nation, ranking 2nd of all the majors we analyze. In 2019-2020, 934,088 degrees were awarded to students with this major. In 2017-2018, health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $44,506 and had an average of $32,284 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 52,592 health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $43,885 and $28,350 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 2,318 health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $75,140 and $97,138 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Health Professions Schools for a Doctorate in the Rocky Mountains Region” ranking, we looked at 20 colleges that offer a degree in health professions. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality health professions programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
