In 2019-2020, 934,088 health professions students received their degree, making the major the 2nd most popular in the country. In 2017-2018, health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $44,506 and had an average of $32,284 in loans still to pay off.
At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 136,909 health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,398 and $43,194 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Health Professions Schools for a Master’s” ranking analyzed 923 colleges that offered a degree in health professions. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent health professions programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
