The student loan default rate at the school is 2.0%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%. With a freshman retention rate of 97%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its students.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of South Florida - Main Campus. It ranked #2 on our 2022 Best Value History Schools in Florida For Those Getting Aid list. USF Tampa is a large public school situated in Tampa, Florida. It awarded 137 ’s history degrees in 2019-2020.

The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 95%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year. The student loan default rate at the school is 3.5%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.

The student loan default rate at the school is 4.3%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.
Florida Gulf Coast University came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Best Value History Schools in Florida For Those Getting Aid ranking. This fairly large school is located in Fort Myers, Florida, and it awarded 34 ’s history degrees in 2019-2020.
FGCU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #11 on our “Best History Schools in Florida” list. The yearly cost to attend FGCU is $11,606 for florida history students with aid.
Florida Atlantic University did quite well in the 2022 Best Value History Schools in Florida For Those Getting Aid ranking, coming in at #9. FAU is a public institution located in Boca Raton, Florida. The school has a large population, and it awarded 41 ’s degrees in 2019-2020.

Flagler College - St Augustine ranked #10 on this year’s Best Value History Schools in Florida For Those Getting Aid list. Flagler St. Augustine is a private not-for-profit institution located in Saint Augustine, Florida. The school has a small population, and it awarded 18 ’s degrees in 2019-2020.
