The public school handed out doctorate’s law degrees to 326 students in 2019-2020.
UT Austin did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Law Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at UT Austin are $22,886.

Out of the 10 schools in the Best Value Law Schools for a Doctorate in the Southwest Region For Those Making $75-$110k that were part of this year’s ranking, Arizona State University - Tempe landed the #2 spot on the list. Located in Tempe, Arizona, this large public school handed out 252 degrees to qualified doctorate’s law students in 2019-2020.
ASU - Tempe also took the #3 spot in our “Best Law Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking. Average graduate tuition and fees at Arizona State University - Tempe are $27,048, but you may pay more or less depending on your major.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Houston. It ranked #3 on our 2022 Best Value Law Schools for a Doctorate in the Southwest Region For Those Making $75-$110k list. This large school is located in Houston, Texas, and it awarded 254 doctorate’s law degrees in 2019-2020.

Texas A&M University - College Station did quite well in the 2022 Best Value Law Schools for a Doctorate in the Southwest Region For Those Making $75-$110k ranking, coming in at #7. This large school is located in College Station, Texas, and it awarded 131 doctorate’s law degrees in 2019-2020.
Texas A&M College Station also made our “Best Law Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list, coming in at #4. Average graduate tuition and fees at Texas A&M College Station are $22,743, but some majors have different tuition rates.
University of Tulsa came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Law Schools for a Doctorate in the Southwest Region For Those Making $75-$110k ranking. University of Tulsa is a small private not-for-profit school situated in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It awarded 93 doctorate’s law degrees in 2019-2020.

University of Oklahoma Norman Campus did quite well in the 2022 Best Value Law Schools for a Doctorate in the Southwest Region For Those Making $75-$110k ranking, coming in at #9. Located in Norman, Oklahoma, this large public school awarded 150 diplomas to qualified doctorate’s law students in 2019-2020.

Southern Methodist University landed the #10 spot on the 2022 Best Value Law Schools for a Doctorate in the Southwest Region For Those Making $75-$110k ranking. This fairly large school is located in Dallas, Texas, and it awarded 215 doctorate’s law degrees in 2019-2020.
