In 2017-2018, library and information science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $41,496 and had an average of $36,654 in loans still to pay off.

Across the New England region, there were 355 library and information science graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,833 and $33,434 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 318 library and information science graduates with average earnings and debt of $58,606 and $42,101 respectively.

URI is located in Kingston, Rhode Island and, has a fairly large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 33 masters’s library science degrees to qualified students.
