This ranking identifies schools with high-quality library science programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

The school came in at #1 for the Best Value Library Science Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $48-$75k. Queens, New York is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s library science degrees to 117 students in 2019-2020.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at QC, the school also landed the #6 spot in our “Best Library Science Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking. Average graduate tuition and fees at Queens College are $21,042, but some majors have different tuition rates.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Maryland - College Park. University of Maryland - College Park is located in College Park, Maryland and, has a large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 86 masters’s library science degrees to qualified students.

LIU Post is located in Brookville, New York and, has a fairly large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 58 masters’s library science degrees to qualified students.
LIU Post also took the #4 spot in our “Best Library Science Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at LIU Post are $23,479.
St John’s University - New York came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Library Science Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $48-$75k ranking. STJ is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Queens, New York. It awarded 30 masters’s library science degrees in 2019-2020.
STJ did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #10 on our “Best Library Science Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at STJ are $30,666, but you may pay more or less depending on your major.
Drexel University came in at #9 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Library Science Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $48-$75k ranking. Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, this large private not-for-profit school handed out 60 degrees to qualified masters’s library science students in 2019-2020.
Drexel also made our “Best Library Science Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list, coming in at #5. Average graduate tuition and fees at Drexel University are $37,074, but some majors have different tuition rates.
Pratt Institute - Main did quite well in the 2022 Best Value Library Science Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $48-$75k ranking, coming in at #10. Pratt Institute - Main is a private not-for-profit institution located in Brooklyn, New York. The school has a small population, and it awarded 45 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.
