2022 Best Value Doctor’s Degree Colleges for Library Science (With Aid)

In 2019-2020, 5,894 people earned their degree in library science, making the major the 35th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, library science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $41,658 and had an average of $36,277 in loans still to pay off.
At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 29 library science graduates with average earnings and debt of $72,680 and $116,043 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Library Science Schools for a Doctorate For Those Getting Aid” ranking looked at 7 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in library science. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great library science programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
