2022 Best Value Library Science Schools for a Doctorate in the Middle Atlantic Region

In 2019-2020, 5,894 people earned their degree in library science, making the major the 35th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, library science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $41,658 and had an average of $36,277 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 1,044 library science graduates with average earnings and debt of $46,438 and $40,040 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 17 library science graduates with average earnings and debt of $73,944 and $116,843 respectively.
This ranking identifies schools with high-quality library science programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
