In 2019-2020, 64,869 people earned their degree in health and physical education, making the major the 11th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, health and physical education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $29,872 and had an average of $24,778 in loans still to pay off.
Across Florida, there were 1,834 health and physical education graduates with average earnings and debt of $30,320 and $24,587 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Phys Ed Schools in Florida For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking analyzed 24 colleges that offered a degree in health and physical education. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality health and physical education programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
