2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Criminology in the Southeast Region

Criminology is the 82nd most popular major in the country with 10,182 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, criminology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $32,583 and had an average of $24,397 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 2,282 criminology graduates with average earnings and debt of $29,311 and $23,727 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 2,150 criminology graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,277 and $25,415 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Criminology Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region” ranking, we looked at 28 colleges that offer a degree in criminology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality criminology programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Georgia Southern University. The school came in at #2 for the Best Value Criminology Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region. Located in Statesboro, Georgia, this large public school awarded 106 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s criminology students in 2019-2020.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at GaSou, the school also landed the #13 spot in our “Best Criminology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking. The yearly cost to attend GaSou is $15,536 for Southeast Region Bachelor’s Degree Criminology students.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of West Georgia. The school came in at #3 for the Best Value Criminology Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region.
