Metropolitan State University earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Metro State is a moderately-sized public school located in the city of Saint Paul. Metro State also made our Best Colleges for Human Services in the Plains States Region list, coming in at #2.
The student loan default rate at Metro State is lower than is typical, just 1.4% of students default in three years. There are approximately 2,941 students at Metro State that take at least one class online. About 4,032 of the students at Metro State are attending part time.
