The University of Texas at Austin is a public institution located in Austin, Texas. The school has a large population, and it awarded 26 ’s degrees in 2019-2020.

Stephen F Austin State University did quite well in the 2022 Best Value Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid ranking, coming in at #7. Nacogdoches, Texas is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s interior design degrees to 14 students in 2019-2020.
SFASU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #11 on our “Best Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region” list. The estimated yearly cost for SFASU is $13,723 for southwest region interior design students with aid.
Scottsdale Community College did quite well in the 2022 Best Value Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid ranking, coming in at #8. This medium-sized school is located in Scottsdale, Arizona, and it awarded 16 ’s interior design degrees in 2019-2020.
Scottsdale Community College also took the #17 spot in our “Best Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking. The yearly cost to attend Scottsdale Community College is $10,397 for southwest region interior design students with aid.
With a ranking of #9, San Jacinto Community College did quite well on the 2022 Best Value Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid list. Mesa Community College came in at #11 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid ranking. Mesa Community College is located in Mesa, Arizona and, has a fairly large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 20 ’s interior design degrees to qualified students.

Sam Houston State University came in at #12 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid ranking. SHSU is a large school located in Huntsville, Texas that handed out 11 ’s interior design degrees in 2019-2020.
SHSU also took the #12 spot in our “Best Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking. The yearly cost to attend Sam Houston State University is $14,617 for southwest region interior design students with aid.
University of Central Oklahoma came in at #13 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid ranking. Located in Edmond, Oklahoma, this fairly large public school handed out 7 degrees to qualified ’s interior design students in 2019-2020.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at UCO, the school also landed the #10 spot in our “Best Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking. The yearly cost to attend University of Central Oklahoma is $16,562 for Southwest Region Interior Design students with aid.
Northern Arizona University ranked #14 on this year’s Best Value Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid list. Northern Arizona University is a large school located in Flagstaff, Arizona that handed out 57 ’s interior design degrees in 2019-2020.
NAU also made our “Best Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region” list, coming in at #14. It costs about $12,915 for Southwest Region Interior Design students with aid per year to attend Northern Arizona University.
University of Oklahoma Norman Campus did quite well in the 2022 Best Value Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid ranking, coming in at #15. Located in Norman, Oklahoma, this large public school awarded 17 diplomas to qualified ’s interior design students in 2019-2020.
In addition to being on our southwest region interior design students with aid list, University of Oklahoma has also earned the #4 rank in our “Best Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking. The yearly cost to attend University of Oklahoma Norman Campus is $21,145 for southwest region interior design students with aid.
Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 87%. The low student loan default rate of 4.7% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%.
Oklahoma Christian University ranked #16 on this year’s Best Value Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid list. Located in Edmond, Oklahoma, this small private not-for-profit school awarded 4 diplomas to qualified ’s interior design students in 2019-2020.
OC did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #15 on our “Best Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region” list. The estimated yearly cost for OC is $21,347 for southwest region interior design students with aid.
University of the Incarnate Word came in at #17 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid ranking. UIW is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school situated in San Antonio, Texas. It awarded 7 ’s interior design degrees in 2019-2020.

The Art Institute of Houston landed the #18 spot on the 2022 Best Value Interior Design Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid ranking. Ai Houston is a small private for-profit school situated in Houston, Texas. It awarded 11 ’s interior design degrees in 2019-2020.
