2022 Best Value Associate Degree Colleges for Music (Income $0-$30k) in the Southeast Region

Music is the 40th most popular major in the country with 27,047 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, music graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $25,639 and had an average of $28,653 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 5,527 music graduates with average earnings and debt of $25,034 and $26,370 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 339 music graduates with average earnings and debt of $31,631 and $18,547 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Music Schools for an Associate in the Southeast Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking, we looked at 7 colleges that offer a degree in music. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great music programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

This large school is located in Orlando, Florida, and it awarded 48 associates’s music degrees in 2019-2020.

Winter Park, Florida is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out associates’s music degrees to 65 students in 2019-2020.
