Rutgers University - New Brunswick tops the 2021 list of our schools in New Jersey that are best for non-traditional music students. Located in the small city of New Brunswick, Rutgers New Brunswick is a public college with a very large student population. Rutgers New Brunswick also made our Best Colleges for Music in New Jersey list, coming in at #1.
The student loan default rate at Rutgers New Brunswick is lower than is typical, just 1.1% of students default in three years. Approximately 30,054 students take at least one class online at Rutgers New Brunswick. 7,559 students are part time.

It placed #7 on our Best Colleges for Music in New Jersey list.
About 1.7% of Monmouth students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 1,584 students at Monmouth that take at least one class online. 808 students are part time.
Ramapo College of New Jersey comes in at #8 in this year's ranking. Located in the suburb of Mahwah, Ramapo College is a public college with a moderately-sized student population. Ramapo College also made our Best Colleges for Music in New Jersey list, coming in at #6.
