In 2017-2018, American Sign Language graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $30,270 and had an average of $21,733 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 319 American Sign Language graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,400 and $26,507 respectively. Gallaudet University is a small private not-for-profit school situated in Washington, District of Columbia. It awarded 40 masters’s ASL degrees in 2019-2020.

Rochester Institute of Technology is a private not-for-profit institution located in Rochester, New York. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 7 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.
